Two-Phase Support Model for Startups

  • Active Phase: Comprehensive support for business modelling, product development, pitching, branding, fundraising, and regulatory compliance, combined with sandbox testing across OTT, VFX, VR, gaming, animation, publishing, and post-production.
  • Passive Phase: Continued engagement through lighter mentorship, investor connections, and global showcasing opportunities at Waves Bazaar.

Infrastructure, Mentorship and Global Exposure

Startups in the Media Tech Incubator will benefit from co-working spaces, AV/digital labs, hosting servers, high-speed LAN/Wi-Fi, AWS and Google Cloud credits, and India AI compute services. The program will also feature masterclasses from global tech leaders at Google, Microsoft, and Amazon, alongside bootcamps, policy clinics, and investor engagement sessions.

Governed by WaveX under quarterly reviews with the Ministry of I&B, the incubator will initially support 15 startups in its first batch, based at the IICT Mumbai campus. The program fee is set at ₹8,500 plus GST per month.
